The last month has flown by !!!! Fall is now upon us here in Bavaria - the kiddos are back in school & there's a breeze in the air . With all the changes around here lately , I have had very little time for blogging. This blog (as the name suggests) is my time to CATCH UP !

I am just blown away by the opportunities I have been given for doing what I love . Recently I photographed the Fall Kick Off for a youth ministry here on post (Club Beyond) for a friend . I am also the Historian for our PWOC here in Hohenfels this year & have had some really incredible opportunities for taking photos there. Next week I will be giving "Tips on Photography" at the local Spouses Club Luncheon. Although public speaking is definitely NOT my favorite thing to do, I am greatful for the opportunity to share what I love with those in the community. I thank God for the opportunities He has given me & for using something I'm passionate about to STRETCH me & get me out of my comfort zone !

Last weekend a friend was blessed with the birth of her precious Baby Girl - Princess C ! In this blog you will see a few peeks @ what I captured in our initial session. We will have a full family shoot in a few weeks too which I'm already looking forward to. Thanks A for allowing me to photograph your sweet little angel! She's absolutely PERFECT !

I also had the opportunity to do family photos for a very sweet family here in the community - The A Family . Their children were truly adorable ! Thank you E for allowing me to be a part of your family that day !!!

Better late than never ... I suppose !

So the last couple of weeks have been extremely busy . (I'm not complaining!) I have been so fortunate to meet & photograph some really amazing families ! All the shoot time & editing time has left little time for blogging, so here goes ...

The photos below were captured during 2 different sessions - both sessions were for an amazing family - the T family. The first shoot was one that I've been dreaming about (literally) for quite a while . I call that one the -Newborn Outdoor Adventure Shoot! Little Miss M was such a breeze to photograph ! Her mom & I had lots of fun wandering around through wild flower fields and small creeksides. The photos were all I had dreamed of and more !

The scond shoot was done yesterday - the T Family Shoot . The family - Dad, Mom , 3 boys & baby M was so much fun !!! These boys kept me on my toes ! My hope is that these photos captured their energy & zeal for life !

Baby Makes 4 {Hohenfels/Velburg Children, Family , Maternity Photographer}

Well ... as soon as I woke up this morning , I had a bad feeling about the weather. It's been raining for over 24 hrs & the forecast said there was no stop in sight. I was bummed when 0900 rolled around and I had to reschedule my Newborn Shoot due to inclimate weather . I ran a few errands & kept praying that the rain would stop in time for my Family / Maternity shoot this afternoon & God came through for me BIG TIME ! The PEEKS below are of a vibrant, beautiful, fun - loving family we'll call the D's . Their daughter MISS L was a hoot. She was so cooperative & the most laid back 3 yr old I've laid eyes on in a while - remember I live with one :) Mr & Mrs D were fabulous as well - they were so natural in front of the camera & their love for each other radiates through their eyes ! It was truly my pleasure to have them grace my camera !

Since becoming serious about my passion for photography , my goal has been to teach myself to find something EXTRAORDINARY in the ordinary ... Today I believe I did just that . These photos are some that I am truly proud of & I hope you enjoy them as much I do .

Busy Busy Busy

The last 3 weeks have been extremely busy ... I had the opportunity to have a photo booth @ the Freedom Fest here at Hohenfels with a friend (also a photographer of course) . We had a great time & got to capture special memories for lots of families , couples & especially for soldiers that were here for training . Very awesome opportunity.

A little over a week ago , I took an amazing trip with a couple of girlfriends to Poland . It was such a blessing in so many different ways ! We have also had family in town , so there has been non stop fun for the past 3 weeks .

All this fun has left me with thousands of photos & no time for editing . I am hoping that the next few days will provide the time to work on them & update the blog soon ! So be on the look out !! Great photos coming soon !

On Sunday , I had the opportunity to photograph my friend's beautiful family - the J Family .The weather was a beautiful and so was the family . Dad (J) was surrounded by beautiful ladies - his wife & 3 adorable daughters. Below are a few peeks at what was captured .

Princess A - Newborn Session

Last week , I had the opportunity to photograph a friend's beautiful newborn ... Princess A !

This was my first official indoor shoot . Studio shooting is something that I am still learning about ... but I couldn't have asked for a better model - she is absolutely beautiful which made photographing her a breeze.

Favorite Shot of the Day

Pretty Pretty Princess

Today I had the most amazing privelege of photographing a true little princess. We'll call her Miss TJ . The weather (which was supposed to be rainy & stormy) turned out to beautiful and when Miss TJ got out of the car... I could tell from the look in her baby blues that this shoot was going to be a lot of fun. She's 15 months old and she really kept me on my toes ! We played with the ducks and even splashed a little in the mud left over from last nights rain . I'm not sure who had more fun TJ or me ?

Today was my first official Family Shoot , and w ell ... the title says it all .

Today was in fact "Picture Perfect". The weather was gorgeous - sunshine all around and not a cloud in the bright blue Bavarian sky . When deciding where to do their shoot , Mom (J) wanted to stay close to home and find a place that really fit their adorable young family. I believe she did just that ! These photos were taken in Lupburg ... and I believe these shots truly capture their fun loving spirit. J - thanks for allowing me to capture these special memories for you. A few of my favorites from the last photo shoot...

Over the last month , I have been trying to get my watermark made and today I was finally able to do it. I am really excited how it turned out , especially because it's the first time I've ever used Photoshop . Who knows , I might change it up later. But for now I think it represents Simply Brynn Photography perfectly !!! Several shoots coming up in the next two weeks ... but for now I'm going to take a couple days to rest with my family . Hope everyone has a blessed Memorial Day weekend & be sure to remember why we celebrate it !

Yesterday I had the most awesome privilege of doing my very first maternity shoot. A & B are expecting their little princess in July . They both have such fun loving personalities and were up for anything that I suggested. As you can see below , they are incredibly photogenic , which made my job easy .
